The culture and art of Hip Hop has transcended tremendously over the last few decades. However, its catalyst and mouthpiece remains constant: the DJ. DJ’s have always played the role of pioneer – introducing the world to some of the greatest musicians. Upon his arrival to the entertainment industry, DJ Mr. Famous has taken this role to another level.

A loving father and family man, DJ Mr. Famous was originally known for his work in the community. Heavily invested in philanthropy, he founded the “Famous Non-Profit Organization” where he worked closely with youth ages 6-14 mentoring them on the art of djaying. His community service work does not stop there, as Famous is active in fund raising efforts for Breast Cancer, Lupus, and Haiti (via Feed the Children). After losing his house via Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Famous went on to form a DJ Team: Hurricane DJs. This team consists of several of the hottest mainstream, hip hop, R&B, pop, and EDM DJ’s in New York City. He also joined the coalition WeAProblem DJs.

Since, DJ Mr. Famous’ brand has continued soaring to new heights. He has worked with some of today’s hottest artists such as DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Trina, T-Pain, Dana Da Designated Hata®, Keisha Cole, Monica and Debra Cox. He has also worked, produced, and broken records for some of New York’s top independent artist including MC and PHresher. Famous also works as an event planner and promoter for Xquizit Entertainment, contracting clubs and venues throughout the Tri-State Area, producing some of New York City’s most elite events.

After comfortably establishing his presence in New York’s club scene, Famous began to involve himself in the online radio community and corporate world.  In addition to being an official DJ for Cricket Wireless, he has taken a DJ & personality position with the online radio show Grind FM. He’s also an official DJ for DTF’s radio show “Truth Be Told.”

Though his work has stemmed into various realms of entertainment, he remains an expert at mixing, remixing, and djaying live stage performances. Hence, you can anticipate him dropping his own EP as the year progresses. As DJ Mr. Famous always says, “Your brand is what makes YOU Famous.”
